This apartment was designed for a writer located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The layout falls into two main territories: roughly two-thirds of the floor area is given over to a generous social area, accommodating the hall, kitchen, dining area, living space, library and workspace; with the remainder of the plan incorporating a bedroom, dressing area and shower. All millwork is fabricated in Brooklyn, and the floors are made of terrazzo.
