The existing 1 story house was renovated, extended, and converted into private spaces, while a 30x30-ft volume was added to enclose the new communal areas.
This project is the renovation of an existing 2-story house in Monticello, NY. The existing structure ground floor was converted into a guest house, while the existing first floor became the new privat zone of the family. A 30x30-ft addition containing collective spaces was incorporated, with large openings to the beautiful landscape surrounding the property.
